While in Florida, I discovered the Hillsborough Rive State Park. Here down a long path was a viewing point for the class II rapids along the river.

I was hoping to see an alligator having fun body surfing thru the rapids… well, that didn’t happen. But the local birds were excited to great the new day as I was there not to long after sunrise.

This park really is a treasure so close to Tampa, yet very removed… a great place for local families as well as visitors to relax with nature.

Listening to this episode we experience… The sounds of class II rapids sweeping over the rocky riverbed. Birds, excitedly chatting with each other as the day begins. Plus, just a bit of breeze moving a few leaves in the trees, makes for a very relaxing experience.   Enjoy!
