— Welcome to this week’s Episode of AudioTrek … Rapids on Deep Creek in the Deep Creek Campground, Bryson City, North Carolina.
This 2-3-mile-long section of Deep Creek is pretty much nonstop small rapids. Great for tubing, and yes, great to just get visually lost in the movement as well as relaxing to the sounds of water tumbling over rocks.
As I was hiking past this spot along the creek, I saw a chance to get the camera further out into the creek for a fun up river angle. After placing the camera, I set up the audio recorder a little closer to the actual rapids to pick up the smaller “burbles” not just the big moving water.
The clouds and sun were taking turns over the creek, and you can see how the sun kind of brings alive the water as it froths, and the greenery behind just kind of lights up! Sitting here looking out over the rapids I was put into a free thinking mood. This experience may be useful for meditation, background for working, or maybe what you need to fall asleep.
However you choose to use this experience… Enjoy!
AudioTrek… Relax. Explore. Meditate. Sleep.
