In the moment… On the mountain…

Mountains and skiing have always been a passion. From my first trip to Europe in the Austrian Mountains to the many opportunities I’ve had to enjoy the majestic and tranquil mountain locations.

While in Colorado for a Keystone Mountain, wedding film project… I noticed that between the condo where I was staying, and the ski mountain, there was this beautiful wetland area. Well, turns out that the wetland area, was the snowpack overflow of the Snake River. The Snake River, begins above the old mining town of Montezuma, near the Continental Divide, and continues thru the Keystone area as it flows into the Dillion Reservoir.

Early on the wedding day, I hiked out to the river, and as the river twisted along, I found a nice spot, to film and record audio of the river as the day was beginning.

Listening to this episode we experience… The soft sounds of the river as it sweeps over the rocky riverbed. Birds chatting with each other as the day begins. Plus, just a bit of breeze moving a few leaves in the trees, makes for a very relaxing experience.    Enjoy!
