— Welcome to this week’s Episode of AudioTrek … Sonoma Creek, as it flows thru Glen Ellen, in California.
Running thru Glen Ellen and past Jack London State Park, the Sonoma Creek is an important watershed resource for Southern Sonoma County, and all the wineries located there.
The creek flow varies with the rains, and I happened to be there about a week after a week of heavy rains. You can see along the banks that the creek was a good 10 feet above where I filmed. Just imaging that much water flowing, is kind of joyous and impressive.
I do love the sounds of creeks and streams as they flow over, a shallow rocky section, with a few birds in the trees chatting away. I didn’t have one handy, but a hammock, in the trees would have made for an amazing afternoon!
